Soooooooo....

I SAW NORTIA THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!! Nortia is the one who was baptized the week after I got transferred out of Alema!!!! SO fun!!!! She was walking home from school (her school is in our area)!! I love her so much!!!

Taua is progressing again!!! We don't have a date for her baptism but the goal is that the week she gets the okay for the wedding, she will get baptized that Saturday! Did that make sense? My english is going down..

Our lesson with Tilomai as awesome as!!! We have another one tonight where we will teach her plan of salvation!!

We had 4 progressing investigators this week!! Hopefully we will have 2 set for baptism before I email you again... hopefully!!!

Our flat is leaking... that is fun.... There is a leak somewhere and it is slowly making us fall through the floor!! BAHAHA!!! Poor Elder Templeton is sick of our flat!! Our property manager is over seas right now for two weeks... BAHAHA!!!

I'm trying to think of something else to tell yous...

We have a missionary activity!! The first one this ward has had in nearly a year! It will be on the 10th and 11th of September! We are getting the ward back in the swing of missionary work! So much progress and so many miracles!! It makes me so happy

We are working hard, trying to get a bigger teaching pool.. Not heaps of success but I know as we continue to be obedient and work hard the Lord will bless us!

What happened this week?

Is it really P-day already?

That was rather fast wasn't it?

It's kind of like a cruel joke... I get to hear from yous which makes me excited but then I have to try and compile all of my thoughts and actions into an email and send it home... its basically impossible isn't it?? 

I can't even really distinguish this week from the one before..?

Kika is still talking to her mom about what day she will get baptised. She can't be baptized on the 26th anymore so we are aiming for the 3 Saturday in April.

Benjamin (Sis. Lualua taught him in Hamilton and he has friends in our ward) came to church and a members house yesterday! He still reads the Book of Mormon! We are going to set him tonight for the 26th of March! He is so ready! But when we reported to ward council last night they don't want Benjamin in the ward because he doesn't understand Samoan, but 2 of his 3 hours in church are in English (YSA and classes) so I don't get it. They are making us refer him back to the elders.. :( But its okay! He is still getting baptized!! Team win!!

NORTIA SILVA WAS BAPTIZED not this Saturday but last Saturday!! I asked for permission from the AP's and president to go but was told no... President felt bad I could tell. BUT SHE WAS BAPTIZED!!! YAY!!!!!! I am so excited!! We have been working on her for so long!!!

I dunno what else to say BAHA!! I will finish the Tusi a Mamona this week on Wednesday!!! We are working so hard!! We are having a little bit of trouble with the ward but we are praying and fasting!! Sister Lualua sends her love!

True Discipleship

Miracles miracles miracles.

I have had this obscure goal that I haven't really been able to find a decent description for revolving around being a missionary that can be trusted with miracles in the mission. This week I finally found the perfect description.
TRUE DISCIPLESHIP.

That is my goal. That is what I'm gunning for. That is what I eat sleep and breathe for. If I don't have anymore baptism for the rest of my mission, but I can look back and say "I was a true disciple of Christ" I will be ecstatic.

I have been fasting a lot this week, for my language, for our investigators, and for other things. Miracles are become much more frequent! We soft set Nese and committed her to pray for a date. We received revelation that her baptism will be on the 20th.. on Tuesday we will see what her revelation was! She also is taking with her family about her decision! Fun stuff! Also we are making progress With Nortia (who was supposed to be baptized with Caroline). She will be baptized on her dad's first day off in February.. hopefully we will also know that this week too! We have several other investigators we want to invite to be baptized this week too!

The work is going well! My language is... coming? LOL! I made a goal to learn 20 new words a day. I have been averaging about 40 ;) so that's exciting. And I am on track to finish le tusi a mamona on march 16th! I can read all 6 pages in half an hour now.

Note from Delise, here are some things she wrote in a private email that I thought everyone would be interested in knowing:
"Sister Puaina is from American Samoa, so she is used to American products too. so I gave her one!! Lol!! Ulu is good.. she talks a lot so I don't teach as much as I used too ;) LOL! Oi!!! We got a letter and Puaina and me are both training Ulu... so that's exciting!! Taituuga goes home in May. We haven't gone on splits lately, my companions don't know the area well enough! Actually we went on splits with the kids in the MTC. Ours was from Vanuwatu (where Elder Sears served) and she said she knew him!! How cool is that? Her name was sister James!"

This week started off awesome; lessons, inviting people for our activities this weekend (we had volleyball and basketball on Saturday and a devotional on Sunday), service, but then everyone seemed to realize it was almost Christmas ;P Around Thursday everyone got too busy to talk to us or just weren't home. In fact none of our investigators came to any of our activities this weekend even though they said they would...FAANOANOA (sad)!! Fia tagi :'( (want to cry). haha!! That's okay, they have their agency! We did our job by inviting them! :)

On Wednesday we had splits with the Missionaries in the MTC again! The Sisters from Samoa came with Sister Taituuga and me!! The one that came on splits with me, Sister Fata is going to Sydney North, and the Sister who split with Sister Taituuga, Sister Ulu, is coming HERE!!! IN THE SAMOAN PROGRAM!! Whaaaat? so then we had fun trying to guess who Sister Ulu's trainer would be!! Hahah! she is coming in the middle of the transfer so she will be in a trio for a few weeks before she knows who it is! I hope she will be in a trio with us! That would be so fun!!

There are only 6 sisters in the program, 4 of them were called to it, 2 of them are visitor center sisters (Sister Taituuga and Sister Poina- Sister Corrigan's trainer). 

We had lessons with Nortia this week (our investigator who was supposed to be baptized with Caroline). Hopefully we will get a date pinned down for her this week... we will see! I will keep you posted!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!! I am so thankful for Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he has made for us. He has paid the price for my sins, and asks for nothing in return except to follow his example and come unto him.
